This is a photograph of a group of sea lions in an enclosure. Several sea lions are swimming and interacting with one another. In the foreground, the sea lions play in the water, their heads rising above the surface as they move. Behind the pool, a wrought iron fence separates the sea lions from a paved walkway and a backdrop of tall trees and city architecture. The image is in black and white, with strong contrasts highlighting the textures of the water, the sea lions' wet skin, and the shadows cast on the pavement.
