The image depicts an engraved portrait of a person from the torso upwards. The figure is positioned slightly turned to their left with their head facing the viewer in a three-quarter view. They have long, curly hair, arched eyebrows, a straight nose, and full lips. The person is dressed in a garment with a flowing cloth over their shoulders, fastened with a ribbon, and a high-collared shirt underneath. The portrait is framed within an oval, ornate border with ribbon-like decorations. The background features vertical lines within the oval, while the outer area is plain. Below the oval, there is an inscription in French, and the artist's name is at the bottom.
