This is a photograph of a wall of dispensing machines labeled for various food items. The image shows rows of small, glass-fronted compartments. Each compartment is designed to store individual food portions such as pies and cakes. Above the compartments, there are illuminated signs reading "PIES" and "CAKES". Each compartment has a knob and a coin slot. The space has a streamlined, almost mechanical feel. The lighting is bright, emphasizing the neat rows and polished surfaces of the vending mechanisms.
