Artist, Polish, 1778 - 1812

The image shows a person standing in a relaxed position with their arms crossed in front of them. The individual is facing slightly to the right, with their head turned towards the viewer. They have pronounced facial features, slightly furrowed brow, loosely curled hair, and are wearing a loose, textured garment. They also wear a loose, brimmed hat and simple footwear. The person appears to be holding a musical instrument in their arms, possibly a string or wind instrument, as its shape is only partially depicted. The background is plain and textured, with simple lines and shading suggestive of foliage or ground lines, but largely undefined.
