The image depicts a landscape from an elevated perspective. The horizon is high, showing distant hills and mountains behind a village. Various buildings, including a church with a tower, are visible on the horizon. The detailed engraving features intricate line work, typical of etching, capturing textures on rocks, trees, and structures. The color palette is monochromatic, with shades of grey to black for depth and contrast. In the foreground, there are depictions of vegetation, livestock, figures, and horses on a path. Further back, a village with buildings and a bridge over a stream leads to the mountainous horizon.
