The image displays swirling and curving shapes and lines that contribute to its abstract quality. The text is arranged in a non-linear fashion, with curving lines that suggest a dynamic flow. Interspersed among the text are illustrated forms that hint at human figures, seen on the left and towards the bottom. The visual arrangement creates an impression of a theatrical poster with an artistic style that abstracts the concept of a playbill into a bold composition.
