The sculpture depicts a horse with its head lowered, appearing to graze. The horse is detailed, with a defined mane and a tail suggesting motion. The sculpture is made from a dark-colored material, likely bronze. The horse's body is smooth with detail suggesting muscles. The horse has a saddle, blanket, canteen, and a rifle, all finely molded. The sculpture rests on a polished, marbled base. The work captures a moment of realism.
