This is a photograph of two figures in a waterfront setting with an industrial backdrop. The scene captures a moment at a dockside, where the foreground shows a brick wall leading down a short set of steps towards the water. In the background, a large ship is docked, with visible masts and industrial structures that frame the composition. The photograph is in black and white, emphasizing the textures of the bricks and the surface of the water, which gently laps at the edge of the pier.

The image displays a series of elongated, cylindrical shapes stacked closely together to create an abstract pattern of lines and contours. The forms resemble oversized fingers, with a textured surface similar to skin. The composition suggests a giant hand resting among small pebbles or stones, creating a surreal juxtaposition of scale.

The image shows a person seated on a stool or chair in a hunched, forward-leaning posture. They have one elbow resting on the knee and the opposite hand placed on the thigh. The person's head is bent forward, with their face partially obscured by their hand and the angle of the image. They have dark, straight hair that falls over their face. The individual is not wearing clothes, and there is a textured fabric draped over the stool. The background consists of paneled doors, suggesting an indoor setting, and the surface beneath them appears to be carpeted or similarly textured. The lighting creates strong contrasts and shadows.
