Untitled Tie Quilt

Elizabeth Talford Scott · 1995 · fabric, thread, mixed media ·  Accession ID  2024.87.1

This print consists of thin vertical columns and horizontal lines, creating a complex pattern. Large dark shapes resemble industrial structures like chimneys or smokestacks, with the space above them mostly light, like a pale gray sky. The overlapping lines create a texture vaguely similar to that of woven fabric.
