The image displays the upper half of a young child's body from the waist up, in a straightforward pose looking slightly to the left of the viewer. The child has a smooth, youthful complexion, full cheeks, and lips, with evenly spaced eyes. The hair is light brown, fine, and falls straight and short. The child wears formal dark blue or black attire with a white, frilled collar. The background is a simple, solid color within an oval shape, with a gradient that lightens towards the center, focusing on the child. The setting has an old-world style, reflecting simplicity and restraint seen in classical portraits.
