In the image, a man is depicted from the waist up, seated in a slightly reclined position, with his gaze directed outward toward the viewer. He has a full beard and long hair that falls to his shoulders, framing his face. His clothing consists of a textured robe with a fur collar and cuffs. He holds a small sculpted figure in his right hand while his left hand rests on his torso, partially beneath the robe. In front of him, on the table, are several coins scattered alongside what appears to be a closed book or document. Surrounding him are various sculptural artworks, including classical nude figures and busts, set against a plain background that highlights the fine details of both the man and the art pieces around him.
