White Curve VIII

Ellsworth Kelly · 1976 · oil on canvas ·  Accession ID  1984.105.1

The image shows a large rectangular canvas divided into sections by lines, with two diagonal pale lines intersecting towards the left side. The color palette is muted with dark shades and hints of lighter gray, creating an impression reminiscent of shadows. In the upper right, there is a small rectangular patch of textured color that resembles a worn piece of wood or a weathered book spine. The abstract arrangement of elements suggests geometric forms or architectural elements in minimalist design.
