Claude Monet: A Life in Letters offers extraordinary insight into the artist’s creative process, expanding our view of his life and practice. The letters, which span from his formative years to later fame, are accompanied by profiles of his correspondents, expert introductions, and detailed annotations. The book is illustrated with some of the artist’s best-known paintings, contemporary photographs, and reproductions of the letters. Monet’s world is revealed in words and images.
