Pop-Up Performances

Enjoy the beauty of voice and flutes with three performances in our West Garden Court.

National LGBTQIA+ Flute Choir, 1:00 p.m.

This ensemble brings together LGBTQIA+ flutists and allies from around the nation to perform works composed or arranged by members of the community, and to commission new works for flute choir by LGBTQIA+ composers. Founded in 2021 by Vincenzo Volpe, this volunteer choir performs annually at the National Flute Association convention and other musical events nationwide.

Rock Creek Singers, 2:00 p.m.

The ensemble from the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC, takes the stage to sing everything from classical to pop and Broadway. Performing with and without accompaniment, these musicians use their powerful voices to inspire audiences across the DC area and around the world. 

TONEWALL, 3:00 p.m.

Since 2016, this charismatic queer a cappella band of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus has entertained and inspired audiences with uplifting anthems, classic tunes, and sultry hits from today’s artists. With its award-winning arrangements and choreography, the group is a Northeast champion of the International A Cappella Open and has performed at such iconic New York venues as Carnegie Hall, Yankee Stadium, and Madison Square Garden.
