Artist, Dutch, 1606 - 1669

The image is a sketch showing three individuals, each depicted from the shoulders up. The upper left figure is in a profile position, facing left, with a hand resting on their cheek, and wearing a textured hat. The upper right individual is shown from a slightly angled front view, wearing a loose cap with a textured rim, which partially covers their forehead. Their facial features are soft, with noticeable cheeks. The lower figure is positioned in three-quarter view, wearing a cap as well, with closed eyes and a relaxed expression. Their attire appears to have a frilled collar. The background is plain, displaying the texture of the paper, with the artist's signature and the year "1657" written at the top.
