The image depicts a full-length figure in an intricate etching style. The person is standing with a slight forward lean, holding a basket in one hand and gesturing with the other. The face is detailed with a mustache and a beard, partially covered by a wide-brimmed hat that obscures the hair. The detailed clothing includes a puffed ruff collar, voluminous sleeves, and a long, flowy garment with ample folds and patterns. The person is also wearing loose-fitting pantaloons and shoes, with possible fur textures and bags or pouches hanging from the waist. The background is minimal, focusing attention solely on the individual. The lower part of the image is signed.
