Artist, Dutch, 1606 - 1669

In this drawing, only the upper part of a person's body is shown, hunched over with their head turned slightly to the side. The person's face has deep lines, a prominent nose, and curly, unkempt hair under a cap. They are dressed in a layered garment that appears ragged and worn, with visible stitching and tears. Another figure is drawn smaller, seated with a stick or pole in their hands. The background is plain, with linework suggesting texture and depth. Handwriting at the top of the image includes the name "Rembrandt" and the year 1634.
