The image shows the Acropolis in Athens against a backdrop of a rocky hill with ancient ruins. Dark foliage surrounds the ruins. The composition features fine lines of varying density, likely created through etching. The color palette is monochromatic with shades of brown and cream, giving the image a historical feel. Close to the viewer, there are faint horizontal lines on the ground and two indistinct figures for scale and liveliness.
