This print appear to show two portraits focusing on the head and shoulders of an older man, shown in profile, facing the right. The portrait on top is detailed and realistic, while the one on the bottom is much more sketch-like. The man has a pronounced forehead, a long nose, high cheekbones, deep-set eyes, and a full, bushy beard. His hair is combed back and appears thinning on top, with strands falling around his ears. He is wearing a collared garment. In the top sketch, he has a neutral expression, while in the bottom sketch his brow is slightly furrowed, making him look angrier. The background is plain, beige paper with some stray marks and lines on it.
