The image shows a street scene from a low viewpoint, with buildings on the right side and a street stretching into the distance. No distinct horizon line is visible in the image, as buildings and trees dominate the upper portion. In the foreground, a group of people, including women and children, are gathered around a seated figure near a tree trunk. The brushstrokes are etched and sketch-like, creating a textured depiction. The color palette is monochromatic with black and white shades. Trees add linework in the upper portion, enhancing depth.
