Four elderly individuals are sitting closely together, with the top half of their bodies visible. They are positioned seated, facing towards each other, and slightly angled outwards. The person in the front on the right has a profile view, with pronounced facial lines and wears a dark hat that covers the head. They appear to be holding a piece of paper or fabric. The person in the front on the left side is wearing a hood, with their face slightly turned towards the middle, showing a weary expression. In the background, there is another individual who is partially obscured; their face is turned away slightly, revealing only the side of the face and hair that appears dark and closely cropped. Finally, to the right in the background, a fourth individual wears a large hat and spectacles; they appear to be holding an object, resembling a stick or cane, with gloved hands. The background is neutral, nondescript, with textured shading, focusing attention on the figures.

The image shows a sketch of a nude figure seated, with one arm raised and bent at the elbow, the other resting on their side. The person's facial features are subtly depicted, along with a simple outline of short, wavy hair. Beside the figure is a small, rough drawing of a person in a flowing dress with extended arms, set against an abstract background. The sketch is on a plain canvas with no background elements visible.
