She has long, curly hair and is dressed in attire with a high collar and a dark bow at the neckline, as well as a draped garment with wide sleeves. The background is plain with a curved border, and the bottom of the portrait includes a dedication with the name "Amelia Elisabetha, D.G. Hassiae Landgravia" and additional titles.
