The image shows a side view of a rustic structure or farmstead. The structure is made of rough wooden planks and two pigs are in the foreground. To the right, there are people engaged in various activities, including two women with a child and an infant, a table with objects, and a birdcage hanging above. The horizon is low in the image with trees and buildings in the distance. The etching style features detailed lines and cross-hatching to define texture and shadow, using a monochromatic palette of black ink on a lighter background.
