The artwork shows the upper bodies of two figures, a man and a woman, who are positioned closely together. The man is shown in profile, facing to the right, with a prominent nose and lightly colored lips. His hair appears dark and wavy. The woman is slightly behind the man, with her head leaning towards him and her face turned towards the viewer. She has long, flowing dark hair and distinct eyebrows. Her facial features are drawn prominently, with a small smile on her lips. The man is wearing a long-sleeved, dark red shirt, and the woman is dressed in an orange top with a pattern and a string of beads or pearls around her neck. Both of their hands are visible; the man's left hand is raised as if in the act of painting. In front of him is a painter's palette with vibrant colors and brushes. The background consists of vibrant colors and abstract shapes, including a dense floral pattern in varied hues of green, red, and yellow on the right side, as well as a night scene with blue and white tones depicting a bird and a crescent moon in the sky.
