Associated Names

Artist, American, 1834 - 1903

This is a drawing of a doorway. The image shows a sketch of an arched entranceway with minimalistic line work. The doorway features an arch supported by straight columns with light shading to suggest some stonework detail. Above the door, there is a rough indication of a window or architectural element. Sparse markings hint at additional texture or objects to the side of the door. The style is succinct, giving the essence of the structure without overwhelming detail.
