This black-and-white photograph depicts five children standing outdoors. They are facing an old-fashioned camera on a tripod, which is on the right. On the left, four boys stand closely together, turned towards the camera. The boy in the back of the group is the tallest, and he is holding a basket and wearing a flat cap, smiling widely. The other three boys are clustered together, all appearing to wear similar caps and dark jackets. On the right, a girl stands slightly apart, looking towards us. She is wearing a dark button-up blouse and a lighter skirt, her hair seeming to blow in the wind. The background includes a rural setting with a dirt path, thatched-roof structures, rolling fields, and distant mountains.
