The image shows a sketch of a man from the upper body down to his lower chest. He has his hands near his lap, and his head is slightly tilted to one side. The man has distinct facial features, a full beard and mustache. He is wearing a hat covering his long, wavy hair. His clothing consists of a suit with a shirt underneath, depicted loosely. The background is mostly blank, with light sketch lines indicating some texture. To the right of his head, there is writing that reads "John Grove. the Royal London."
