The image shows three individuals with only their upper bodies visible. The person in the foreground is a young girl with long hair that is slightly messy, some of which falls across her face. Her eyes are closed, and she is facing away from the camera, revealing part of her facial profile. Behind her, to the left, is a young boy with short, tousled hair. He is also facing away from the camera but looks to the right with a slight smile on his face. Further back to the right is a man whose face is visible, looking down at the children. He has short, unkempt hair, and his expression is neutral. The man's face is partially shaded, and he is shirtless. The background consists of a natural, outdoor setting with leafless trees and a timber building. The setting seems to suggest a warm, sunny day with the sepia tone giving a nostalgic feel to the photograph.
