The image displays a scene with figures and ships in a harbor. The perspective is slightly from above eye level. The horizon is not visible, and ships are arranged in the harbor. The etching style uses dense lines and crosshatching for contrast. The color palette consists of shades of black and off-white. Figures are near us, possibly fishermen, with some in shadow. In the background, there are boats with tall sails, indicating a busy maritime setting.
