This is a drawing of a city street scene under an elevated railway. The structural beams of the elevated railway dominate the top of the image, casting shadows across the street below. Vintage cars are parked alongside the curb. Faint outlines of people can be seen walking along the sidewalk, and shop windows line the street side. Light filters through the gaps in the metal structure, creating a pattern on the ground. The drawing uses strong lines and textures to convey architectural details in the city street.
