Artist, American, 1901 - 1973

The image is a sketch showing a partial view of a man's face, focusing on the upper head, eyes, and part of the nose. The man is positioned in profile, slightly turned to the right so that a part of both eyes can be seen. His face is partially obscured by the brim of a cap on his head. He has distinct facial features with a wide nose and expressive eyes with glasses. There is shading that suggests facial hair along the cheeks and chin. Below the man's face is a sketch of a small face with long hair emerging from his beard area. The background is minimal, with most of it being blank. The drawing is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner.
