This is a drawing of a cavernous interior scene set on a stage. The image depicts a dramatic setting with a pair of statuesque figures standing on either side of a central staircase leading to a platform with an altar-like structure. The figures are silhouetted against a backdrop of dark, swirling textures that give the impression of a rocky, cave-like enclosure. Shadows and reflections ripple across the floor-like surface.
