The image is a charcoal sketch of a reclining figure portrayed from the side, showing the torso and upper body. The person's back is slightly tilted, head resting on a surface, with one arm bent behind their head. The facial features are depicted with minimal detail, in profile with closed eyes, a straight nose, and a slight smile. The hair is drawn in a simple, linear style, short and straight. The figure is nude, reclining on a cushioned chair or sofa. In the background, there is a plain setting with no other visible objects. A stamp reading "ARCHIVAL MATERIAL" is seen on the right side of the paper, which has a rough edge and seems torn.
