The image is a sketch of a person, depicted from the upper thigh to the head, capturing a side view of the seated figure. The person is seated with their body facing towards the left side of the image, and their left arm is extended backward, possibly resting on the surface they are sitting on. The facial features are represented with minimal detail, sketching the basic profile of the face. The hair appears to be tied back, suggested by simple lines. The person is draped in clothing that resembles a loose top and a pair of shorts or skirt, and the garment folds are loosely indicated by sketch lines. They are holding an elongated object with their right hand, which is held close to their chest. The background is plain. An archival stamp is visible in the lower right corner of the image.
