The image is an ink drawing of the upper body and profile of a seated person. Their facial features are outlined with a nose and mouth, with short hair falling around their ears. Their clothing is loosely indicated with broad brushstrokes. The person is seated in a chair, with a suggestion of a table in front of them. The background consists of dark abstract strokes creating a shadowy effect, with the rest of the image washed in light tones.
