This is a painting of a battle scene with divine intervention. Soldiers are fighting in the center foreground. A divine figure levitates above the battlefield, holding a branch. In the background, soldiers stand in formation with raised spears and trees frame the scenery. The color palette consists of pale blues, earthy tans, and grays. The style is reminiscent of Jacques-Louis David.
