Both individuals have their heads and faces covered with veils, obscuring their facial features entirely. The standing individual also has a veil over their head and face, wrapped in a light-colored fabric that covers their entire body, elegantly layered and draped. The backdrop of the image is a plain, neutral-toned background emphasizing the textures and tones of the clothing and veils, creating a stark contrast with the covered figures.
