The image depicts a landscape viewed from slightly above. The horizon is low in the composition, revealing a distant waterscape. On the left, there is a calm body of water with clusters of vegetation. On the right, there is a heavily textured area of foliage and tall trees. In the distance on the right, a small stone bridge arches over a waterway, next to which a lone rider on horseback is traveling along a narrow path. The color palette consists of primarily rich, earthy browns and blacks with lighter highlights.
