This is a painting of an abstract eagle surrounded by stars. The central figure is a stylized eagle, with a color palette of red, white, and blue hues, set against a deep blue background. The eagle has an abstract quality with geometric shapes differentiating various parts of its body. Around the eagle are two concentric circular patterns of stars, with the outer ring featuring more loosely placed stars and the inner one more densely packed towards the bottom. The stars vary in size and color, presenting shades in harmony with the overall color scheme. The painting has been signed by Ruth M. Barnes.
