The image is viewed from a ground-level perspective. The landscape features trees and a solitary figure. The horizon is positioned low in the image, where the line of trees thins out into the distance. Five slender trees with sparse, wavy trunks are distributed across the scene. Light vegetative growth is depicted along the horizon line. The brushstrokes are minimal and sketch-like, using soft, loose lines to hint at foliage and ground cover. The color palette is monochrome, dominated by black strokes on a cream paper. Close to us, a figure lies on their side, head propped on one hand, surrounded by the texture of plants and leaves.
