Artist, French, 1857 - 1927

The image displays a richly decorated room featuring a large mirror above a fireplace mantel, a detailed clock, candelabras, and a figurine. The color palette is predominantly sepia-toned. In the foreground on the right side is a velvety armchair with intricate patterns, where clothes are laid. Below the mantel, an intricate cast iron stove is visible, and on the far side of the wall, a small round clock mounted on a shelf can be seen. The viewpoint appears to be directly in front of the fireplace and chair, providing a full view of the arrangement and floral patterned wallpaper on the wall.
