Artist, German, 1884 - 1966

The image shows a sketch of a man's head and partial upper neck. The man's head is tilted slightly downward. His facial features are sharp and pronounced with deeply etched lines outlining his forehead, cheeks, and jaw, giving a textured, aged appearance. The hair is thin and slicked back, revealing a prominent forehead. The man's eyes are closed, and his eyebrows are thick and furrowed. Wisps of hair trace down towards his well-defined ear. He has a finely detailed beard. No clothing or jewelry is visible, and the background is a plain, light-toned surface. The bottom right corner bears a signature and the year "1924" in script.
