This pencil sketch depicts a scene from an elevated viewpoint overlooking a body of water. On the right side, there is a shoreline with a bush and a wooden telegraph pole with wires. A path or road runs horizontally. In the distance, a lake or river is visible with docks or piers holding small figures or objects. Sailboats with detailed sails are seen on the water. The horizon is marked by a thin line where land meets the sky. The sketch is delicately drawn with soft pencil strokes varying in thickness. The color palette is monochromatic, using shades of gray on a white background.
