This painting shows a tan woven basket filled with dark purple plums and orange, red, and yellow flowers. The basket of plums and flowers is centrally positioned, with the flowers cascading down and to the left. Green leaves and stems surround the flowers and plums. One plum is below the basket, resting on a plain brown surface. Behind the basket is a brown wall with a section of pale yellow. The brushstrokes in the painting are thick and visible.
