The image shows a landscape with a low perspective. In the upper third of the composition, there is a horizon. Along the horizon, there is a line of soldiers in uniform standing on a mound, some on horses. The image has a monochromatic palette with warm sepia tones, giving it an antique or vintage feel. The land stretches in the foreground, leading up to the mound where the figures are silhouetted against the background. The photo has soft focus and gradual tonal transitions, enhancing the depth and serenity of the scene.
