This image shows a sepia-toned photograph of a hilly landscape. Many men are scattered on the slope engaged in agricultural work on a recently cleared field. The scene is populated with stumps and plant remains. Trees densely populate the distance and reach upwards, indicating a forested area beyond the cleared field. The composition focuses on the slope with clear lines delineating the human figures. The color palette consists of earthy browns and muted tones. A cluster of large, mature trees breaks the skyline in the distance.
