Three figures are depicted in the drawing. The first figure is a woman shown from head to knee, kneeling with her head slightly tilted downwards. She has delicate facial features and covered hair, wearing a draped garment that flows around her with detailed folds. The second figure is a man, visible from head to knee, sitting beside her with his head slightly bent forward. He has short hair and a calm expression. He is dressed in long, flowing clothes. Between them on the ground lies an infant, partially wrapped in cloth, visible from head to toe, resting on what seems to be swaddling clothes or a garment, with eyes closed. The background features a softly sketched outdoor setting with a tree trunk shape in the top left corner and foliage across the upper part of the drawing.
