The sculpture depicts a seated musician playing a bagpipe. The subject is dressed in attire that includes a large hat, tunic, and boots, all intricately detailed to suggest folds in the fabric and texture. The sculpture is made from a dark brown material, likely bronze or a similar metal. The musician's bagpipe is detailed, with the musician seemingly in the middle of a performance. The figure is placed upon a black pedestal that has some areas of lighter wear. The size of the sculpture appears to be small, as it is seated comfortably on a disproportionately large pedestal.
