This is a painting of an interior with statues. The image features a large, interior space with walls adorned with faded, painted figures. There are two statues of figures on plinths facing each other across a hallway leading to an outdoor space. In the forefront is a statue of a black cat sitting on a pedestal. Light from the outside illuminates parts of the interior, casting shadows. The style of painting is characterized by loose brushstrokes and a muted color palette, with blue skies and patches of green visible through an arched exit.
