The image depicts a landscape viewed from a slightly elevated position. The horizon is positioned towards the top third of the composition, featuring a partially revealed moon and hill-like forms. The artist uses dense, textured brushstrokes and etched lines to create movement and depth. The color palette is monochromatic, consisting of black, gray, and white. Closest to us, the image shows rolling terrain marked by patches of shadow and light streaks, while distant outlines are faintly illuminated against the night sky.
